Home Minister R R Patil made this announcement while replying to the Opposition resolution on deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

When asked on the missing bullet-proof jacket of ATS chief Hemant Karkare and file related to jacket procurement, Patil said 10 persons who were handling the file will be placed under suspension.

Patil further said, similarly, action will be taken against persons responsible for seizing bullet-proof jacket worn by Karkare during the 26/11 attacks operation.

The Opposition also wanted to know whether the leaked report in the media and a copy of the same which they handed over to chief minister was same or not, Patil added.
