The study published in the Primary Care Respiratory Journal suggests that if the runny nose is not treated, it can quadruple the chance that asthma symptoms will also get out of control and even lead to an asthma attack, reports The Daily Express.

According to Professor David Price from the University of Aberdeen, and one of the study's authors, allergic rhinitis could be as bad for asthma patients as smoking. (ANI)
