Washington, Dec 9: David Coleman Headley, who was charge sheeted with Mumbai terror attacks by the FBI on Monday, Dec 7 is set to answer the charges in the Chicago Court on Wednesday, Dec 9.
Federal sources said that the arraignment of Headley will take place at 10:45 am on Wednesday, Dec 9 infront of US District Judge Harry Leinenweber.
David Coleman Headley was arrested in Chicago on Oct 3 for plotting terror attacks on India. He was indicted on Monday for the 26/11 terror attacks by the FBI on Dec 7.
According to the charges Headley had conducted extensive surveillance of targets in Mumbai prior to the 26/11 terror attacks in 2008 which claimed nearly 170 lives, including six Americans, and left hundreds more injured.
Tahawwur Hussain Rana who was arrested with Headley has been charged with planning terrorist attacks on a Danish newspaper and has not been indicted with Mumbai terror attacks.
