Centre agrees to Telangana resolution, asks CM Rosaiah to move resolution in Assembly

New Delhi, Dec.9 (ANI): In a move to end the crisis over Telangana issue in Andhra Pradesh, the Centre has reportedly agreed over the Telangana resolution on Wednesday and has asked the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah to move resolution in Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Telangana.

Resolution will be moved soon in the Andhra Assembly, CNN IBN quoted sources as saying on Wednesday evening.

According reports, Congress on Wednesday evening was working on a compromise formula to offer to KCR, who is yet to end his hunger strike in the hospital over his demand for separate Telangana State.

Congress party will set up fast track mechanism to grant Statehood, said a Times Now report.

Meanwhile, Andhra CM has left status of Hyderabad on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

"We have asked KCR to give up his fast," Times Now reported Andhra Chief Minister Rosaiah as saying in the evening.

Meanwhile, Rosaiah was reportedly going to meet Prime Minister and Home Minister in the evening at 8.30 p.m. (ANI)
