Bangladesh: Two buses collide, 21 killed, 40 hurt
Dhaka, Dec 7: At least 20 people were killed and 40 injured on Sunday evening, Dec 6, when two crowded buses collided in central Faridpur district in southwestern Bangladesh, officials said.

Deputy commissioner Helal Uddin said that the accident occured when Dhaka bound bus from central Madaripur district collided head on with another bus going to southwestern Barisal from the capital.

Faridpur's police chief Awlad Ali said, "The 40 people are being treated at different facilities in Faridpur and conditions of several of them are critical."
