Malay woman raped as part of 'diabetes treatment'

Kuala Lumpur, Dec 2: A Feng Shui master raped a diabetic woman several times promising her that it was the part of the treatment.

The 21-year-old said the suspect told her during their second meeting that he needed to bed her to "change her fate".

She added that he had sex with her for the first time in Apr 2009 and that she had been raped several times since.

"I suspected something amiss when he started taking pictures of me in the nude after claiming that he needed to cure me with the photographs," the New Straits Times Online quoted the woman as saying.

The victim said the suspect's wife knew what was going on and had even threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter.

The woman then sought the involvement of MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head, Datuk Michael Chong.

Jakarta, Dec 29: Thousands of people forced from their homes by flooding in Indonesia were cleaning up their houses and villages today, but neighbouring Malaysia was bracing for a second wave of high water. In Indonesia's Aceh and North Sumatra provinces, where floods and related landslides killed at least 104 people, the number of displaced fell from 400,000 to nearer 200,000 as people returned from shelters on high ground and temporary government camps......
