US, UK must share info about Osama: Gilani
Islamabad, Dec 1: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has rubbished reports saying that al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden is in Pakistan.

He said the country will act if Britain and the US share actionable intelligence about his whereabouts.

Speaking to reporters, Gilani said, "So far, the US and the UK have not shared any actionable intelligence regarding the top al Qaeda leadership."

The Prime Minister also denied reports of differences between him and President Asif Ali Zardari.

"Democracy is essential for Pakistan and if it is not allowed to flourish, it would be detrimental for the country," he said on board his special aircraft.

Gilani further said that the government is making efforts to strengthen democracy and democratic institutions.
