India, Lanka cricketers light up lives of underprivileged kids

Mumbai, Dec 1 (ANI): Indian and Sri Lankan cricketers mingled with underprivileged kids during a charity event here on Monday.

The function was organised under the aegis of the Yuvraj Singh Foundation.

Cricketers gifted bats, gift hampers, bicycles and lots of other things to the kids from marginalized sections.

Happiness knew no bounds as underprivileged kids met the cricket stars.

"I used to watch Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan on television, but today I meet them in reality therefore I am extremely happy...Yuvraj also gifted me a bicycle, I am happy," said Ravi, a young cricket fan.

Zaheer Khan, S Sreesanth, Pragyan Ojha and Yuvraj were present from the Indian team, the Sri Lankan team was represented by skipper Kumar Sangakkara and ex-captain Mahela Jayawardene. (ANI)
