Govt not to sell beyond 10pc in state firms: FM

New Delhi, Dec 1: Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said on Tuesday, Dec 1 that the government will not sell beyond 10 percent stake in state firms as per the earlier decision in Nov 2009.

Asked to comment on inflation, Mukherjee said that shortage in food items has led to inflation as floods in various part of the country has hampered farm output.

Mukherjee also said that the revenue receipt will not correspond to the rise in gross domestic product (GDP), adding that GDP ratio had shown a positive growth ending March 2009 before dipped.

'Live bomb found in Nagpur's Crescent hospital'

Nagpur, Dec 7: Nagpur police on Sunday, Dec 7 has said that they have found explosives in a hospital.
