Mumbai, Dec 1 (ANI): Celebrating its landmark 35th year, Cine Blitz magazine launched a coffee table book,' Cine Blitz Gold' here.
The limited edition, coffee-table book, 'Cine Blitz Gold' is a tale told through the medium of stunning pictures and searing features, illustrating the twin emotions of love and lust that drive the Indian film industry.
Bollywood actors, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif have graced the cover of the book where the cover shot is indicative of the Guru Dutt - Waheeda Rehman starrer classic movie 'Pyassa'.
"I was quite actually amazed at how close it is to the original picture. I was wondering if we would get it right and how close we would come. So the effort that went into it, for me to try and bring Mr Gurudutt back into his life, he is one of my favourite. I am a huge fan of his; it was a great moment for me as well," said Aamir Khan, Bollywood actor.
Katrina Kaif, who got the opportunity to step in the shoes of veteran actress Waheeda Rehman for the cover page of the book seemed thrilled over the whole idea of the coffee table book.
"As Cine Blitz had asked us to be a part of it, so it was their decision and when I got asked to try and recreate such an amazing moment, I definitely wanted to try and attempt and I also want to have some kind of interaction work wise with Aamir. I really enjoyed it," said Katrina Kaif.
The book features the pictures and love stories of some of the legends of Bollywood. (ANI)
