Maoists blow up rail tracks, school in Jharkhand
Ranchi, Nov 29: Maoists have blown up railway tracks at two places and a school building in Jharkhand and called for a two-day shutdown beginning on Sunday, Nov 29.

According police officials, the rebels blew up a rail track near Dania railway station in Ramgarh district late Saturday night, Nov 29.

Around 10 trains services have been affected and their routes have been diverted, police said.

Maoists blasted another a track near Bano railway station in Simdega district early Sunday morning, Nov 29 damaging about one metre of the line.On Saturday night, Nov 28, Maoists blew up a school building in Pipara village of Palamau district. Detonators were used to blow up the building, police said.

Maoists have blown up 10 school buildings this month (Nov). The rebels have been targeting schools as security forces camp there during elections.

Orissa police arrest three Maoists

Baripada, May 22: Mayurbhanj police have arrested three Maoists, the main suspects of May 8 murder of forester Ravindra Nath Patra in Orissa. The Maoist gunmen had attacked the Sargada forest beat and shot dead the forester under Rairangpur range. Police said the arrested Maoists were also allegedly involved in a landmine blast at Sargada- Chadheipahada Road on May nine. They have been identified as Shastri Nayak of Lado village, Matka Majhi alias.....
