Lucknow, Nov 22 (ANI): Lucknow Zoo authorities, aided by veterinarians, are treating a man-eater tiger diagnosed with cancer.
Two - and - half year old male tiger 'Kishen' had killed five people before being trapped by wildlife wardens in the Kishenpur sanctuary.
Lucknow Zoo Director Renu Singh said: " We saw wounds around the ear of the tiger, and after repeated dressings, the wound reappeared. We did biopsy and found it is suffering from 'haemangio sarcoma'- a cancer of the blood vessels."
The tiger was brought to the zoo in March this year and has been under constant medical observation and care since then. (ANI)
