No problem in having Rahul as PM: Amar

No problem in having Rahul as PM: Amar
New Delhi, Nov 21: Stating no displeasure in having Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minster, SP general secretary, Amar Singh has asked Congress on Friday, Nov 20, to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister since the party calls him its trouble shooter.

"Rahul Gandhi is given the credit for solving all problems whether it is the sugarcane Ordinance issue or release of a relief package. Congress should make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister if he is doing all this. We have no problem in talking to him as PM about issues," Singh said.

Rahul Gandhi has been credited with solving the controversial sugarcane ordinance issues and also for the Rs 7,266 crore relief package for development of drought-hit backward region of Bundelkhand which covers parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh which was passed in the union cabinet on Nov 20.

The deadlock on the sugarcane ordinance issue was removed after the government announced amendment of the ordinance following Rahul Gandhi's meeting with the Manmohan Singh.

As per the amendment, the government announced the restoration of the State Advisory Price (SAP) and made the mill-owners responsible for the payment of difference between Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) instead of putting the burden to the state governments.

I didnt have the time to view as to which publication has drafted this headline "No prob....Rahul as PM" however one thing's for sure - either the Journalist didnt understand the sarcastic content of the Amar-speak , or he or she is also in the "team" of pro-Congress/pro-Rahul journalists who want to anoint him the King of this country. A lay man may read the headline and the news content as if Amar Singh is advocating the PM post for Rahul and crediting him for solving the Sugercane and Bundelkhand problems, when the fact is that Amar Singh is questioning the reasoning behind crediting the success of these two issues to Rahul Baba when entire spectrum of non-Congress political fraternity was agitating on these issues. Only this kind of journalism has managed to prop up a dying Congress back on its feet as they are pens, printing press, camera, news-anchors and entire TV studios behind the Congress party and so quite understandably most of them have been awarded by the UPA govt with various Sarkari awards and decorations.

Please do not make some one Prime Minister who is young - they may make mistakes due to immaturity and lack of experience. Rajiv Gandhi lost his life due to his bad, brash decision on LTTE.Her Mother Indira too was shirt tempered and lost her life because of operation blue star. His brother Sanjay - we all know his ways. Rahul is not married - married men understand India better. I think sycophancy has no limits and Amar Singh has an advanced degree in sychophancy.
