Koda seeks more time from ED
Ranchi, Nov 21: Madhu Koda who has been charged with laundering money worth over Rs 4000 crores continues his efforsts to dodge the authorities. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister is now trying to buy some time from the Enforcement Directorate saying that his documents are not ready.

Koda has sought time as some of the documents that the ED as asked for were either with the Income Tax department or with the state vigilance department, Koda's advocate said added that they might have taken the documents during their raids on Koda's properties.

"This documents are necessary as the ED wanted them during his appearance. He had also sent a letter to the ED on November 13 urging the ED to fix a date and time for his appearance convenient after the assembly elections," the advocate added.

On Thursday, Nov 19, Koda who was expected to appear before the ED failed to do so and kept the officials waiting in Ranchi.
