Abducted RJD MLA released by Maoists
Latehar (Jharkhand), Nov 14: Abducted RJD MLA, Ramchandra Singh has returned home unharmed, 3 days after he was kidnapped by Maoists on Nov 11.

While the reason behind the abduction has not been revealed, it has been reported that Singh had returned Latehar police station  and was closeted with DIG Shashinath Jha.

The MLA from Manika was kidnapped along with his associates,Suresh Yadav including five others who were later released.

UPA to meet over N-deal today

New Delhi, Aug 19: The ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) will meet today to resolve the crisis sparked off by the ultimatum issued by the Left to the Government over the Indo-US nuclear deal. All the UPA constituents, including the NCP, the RJD and the DMK, are likely to attend the meeting at 1500 hrs on Sunday, sources said. Soon after CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat yesterday warned the government of "serious consequences" if the nuclear deal was operationalised, an emergency.....
