Swine flu: Over 15,000 affected in India
New Delhi, Nov 13: Swine flu cases in India hits a new high by crossing 15,000 mark with over 150 cases of H1N1 infection being detected across the country. Apart from this, six swine flu deaths reported on Thursday, Nov 12 has taken India's death toll to 514.

A record 154 new cases were reported across India, taking the total number of people affected with the contagious flu to 15,016, health authorities announced.

Out of the six new fatalities two each were reported from Rajasthan and Gujarat while one death each was registered in Delhi and Maharashtra.

With these deaths, state death toll of Rajasthan now stands at 21. Death toll in Gujarat is 42. In Delhi, the toll has touched 18. The worst affected state of Maharashtra has registered a total of 210 deaths so far.
