Nepal police bust Indian sex racket
Kathmandu,. Nov 11: Worried over the fact that Nepal is becoming the hot spot for sex workers, the Nepal police who launched a campaign to sanitise the country of such rackets busted an Indian-run sex racket just days after exposing a Chinese sex workers' network.

Speaking to a news agency, Superintendent Nabaraj Silwal said that prostitutes from countries across the world including India, Russia, China, Palestine and some African countries have an eye on Kathmandu.

According to the police, the Indian who was running the 'budding sex empire' was from New Delhi and began the business about two months ago. Manish Sharma who worked under the alias of Mr John run his 'escort agency' through a website called www.nepalsexguide.com.

The accused allegedly has operations in major Indian metros such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Goa.

Mr John who promised businessmen the companionship of 'beautiful Nepali woman and Asian escorts' charged anywhere between Rs 15,000 to Rs 100,000. He even did background checks of his clients and assured complete privacy.

The police on Monday, Nov 9 busted John's racket after a sting operation when they zeroed in on two clients and caught them red handed with the escorts.

Nepal Constituent Assembly urges parties to form committees
