Laden is alive, says Afghan warlord Hekmatyar

Lahore, Nov.10 (ANI): Wanted Afghan warlord and Hizb-e-Islami chief Gulbudin Hekmatyar has said that Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden is still alive.

A private television channel quoted Hekmatyar as saying that the US would be give a 'safe exit' if it decides to pull out from Afghanistan.

"Al Qaeda's 'wrong' strategy was the reason the Taliban were toppled," The Daily Times quoted Hekmatyar, as saying.

Hekmatyar said India, Iran and China were lending full support to the US led international forces in Afghanistan despite having 'problems with each other'.

He condemned the recent spate of violence in Pakistan, saying those who are targeting Pakistani security personnel should focus on fighting the foreign forces in the region. (ANI)

Disgraced Pak scientist A.Q. Khan denies links with Bin Laden
