The lawyers reportedly thrashed some journalists, including the CNN-IBN Cameraman, who were covering the latest development.

Dinakaran was forced to suspend the case he was hearing and leave the courtroom.

Dinakaran is facing allegations of grabbing 199 acres of lands at Kaverirajapuram in Tiruvallur district near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The Chief Justice of India has already ordered a probe into the matter and Justice Dinakaran's name was withdrawn from the promotion list.

Justice Dinakaran has denied having encroached on any land and said that his silence was not an admission of guilt.
