Veteran journalist Prabhash Joshi passes away
New Delhi, Nov 6: As India loses to Australia with 3 runs on Nov 5, veteran journalist, Prabhash Joshi loses his battle with life after suffering a heart attack on Thursday night, Nov 5.

Family sources said that Joshi had complained of a heart pain at 11.30 pm after watching the match, following which he was taken to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Joshi, the founder editor of the Hindi daily 'Jansatta' is known for defining Hindi Journalism with his publication. He continued to work as the chief editorial advisor of Jansatta after retirement in 1995.

His stint as the resident editor of Indian Express at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Delhi was another addition to his career as a journalist which he began with Nayi Duniya.

The body of joshi will be taken to his native place Indore by flight on Nov 7, where the last rites will be performed at the banks of Narmada.

The 72-year-old journalist is survived by wife Usha Joshi, two sons, Sandeep and Sopan, daughter Sonal and mother Leela Bai.

Assam Company commences oil delivery from Amguri field

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Assam Company Ltd (ACL) has begun delivery of oil from its operated field in Amguri to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) refinery in Guwahati, Assam, about 115 km away. The oil is being sold at the same price as a basket of crude oils with similar characteristics traded in the international market, a company release here said. The oil produced from Amguri is first trucked to Oil India Ltd (OIL) facility at Moran.....
