SANYO launches new 'green' products
New Delhi, Nov 6: SANYO Energy has released new products in India with the extension of eneloop series which includes AA, AAA, C and D-sized batteries along with Universal Charger.

The company which takes pride in its eco-friendly products also announced the expansion of the eneloop universe products which is based on the values reusing and recycling to include the 'eneloop solar light".

These products were developed based on SANYO"s Think GAIA vision, which encourages global effort to encourage a new lifestyle of 'reusing instead of disposing" as part of our everyday lives.

Manufactured in Japan, AA, AAA, C and D-sized 'eneloop" batteries promise to provide longer power supply with increased storage capacity and come with resistance against 'overheating'.

In keeping with the environmental concerns, the company launched the Universal Charger to encourage repeated usage along with simplifying the recharging experience. The charger comes with the ability to monitor and control the the voltage of each battery through a built-in microcomputer to prevent overcharging.

Equipped with SANYO's trademark 'HIT solar cell' technology, 'Eneloop solar light aims to maximize the usability, portability and longevity of solar energy with built-in rechargeable battery.

Speaking on 'going green" campaign, Mr. Hiroaki Shirai, Head of Global Sales & Marketing of SANYO Mobile Energy Company said, “Despite increasing efforts of environmentally friendly practices in recent years, the well-being of the eco-system remains a concern for many. Less confident of NKorea covert programme: US
