PC confirms Pak link to LeT plot to strike india

P Chidambaram
Hyderabad, Nov 6: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has confirmed that the presence of Pakistani link to the terror plans to strike India by the arrest of two LeT men.

David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana were arrested by the FBI in US for plotting a major attack in India's prestigious National Defence College.

Speaking to reporters here, Chidambaram said, "There is a Pakistan link. Dave Headley visited Pakistan a number of times and I think on the advice of the FBI, two or perhaps more people have been arrested in Pakistan."

"There is an obvious Pakistan link," he said, referring to the affidavits filed by the FBI in a Chicago court.

Details of conversation between Headley and Rana, submitted by prosecutors to the Chicago court, indicates that Lashkar-e-Taiba was giving priority to its attack on the National Defence College over other targets.
