Lalu slams Chauhan on 'Biharis not welcome' remark

Lalu slams Chauhan
New Delhi, Nov 6: Responding to the scathing comments that the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan made against Biharis, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said that Chauhan has lost his 'mental balance'.

"Not only that, what he has said is unconstitutional," Lalu said adding that Indians are free to work in any state of the country, reports Times Now TV.

Chauhan said workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh were not welcome in MP and said that the jobs in the state were only for the locals not for outsiders.

"We create industries in Satna and people from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh come to work here. This will be unacceptable. We should train our own youth and give them jobs," the MP CM said.

With this statement, Chauhan was described in the media as 'doing a Raj Thackeray'. Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief has often spoke against North Indians like Biharis migrating to Maharashtra and snatching oppurtunities from the locals.
