Firing at US military base; 12 killed
San Anthonio, Nov 6: At least 12 people were killed and 31 others injured when a US solider went on a rampage at the Fort Hood Army post on Thursday, Nov 5.

The soldier, identified as Major Hassan Malik, opened fire with two handguns in a busy processing center where troops go before being deployed on overseas missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Speaking to reporters, Lt Gen Bob Cone at Fort Hood, said that the motive for the attack remained unclear.

"We don't know that right now. Again, this is all under investigation," he stressed, adding he believed the incident was now over.General Cone confirmed that 12 people were dead. Two other soldiers were arrested after the shooting spree and were being held as suspects, he added.

The violence was believed to be the worst mass shooting in history at a US military base.

Fort Hood shooter charged with murder

Washington, Nov 13: The US Army psychiatrist accused of a shooting rampage at a Texas military base will go on trial for the premeditated murder of 13 people, officials said.Major Nidal Malik Hasan is accused of opening fire with two handguns on Nov 5 at a Fort Hood facility for preparing troops for overseas deployment."We are doing everything possible and we are looking at every reason for this shooting," said Christopher Grey, a spokesman for the Army's criminal.....

It’s the result of former Bush policies. He pushed the world into war on the name of security of people. Anyway, terrorism should be condemned whether it’s from extremists Islamic elements, or state terrorism of Israel and India against Palestinians and Kashmiries, or US state terrorism against, Iraqis and Afghani. American Administration should change her policy of suppressing Muslims
