'26/11 trial will help Pak in arresting plotters'

Mumbai, Nov 6: Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam has said the 26/11 trial in the anti-terror court here is not only against Ajmal Kasab but also against those who had plotted to attack Mumbai.

"We are meticulously leading evidence in this case to ensure that Pakistan uses it in keeping with the provisions of their criminal procedure code to bring the conspirators to book," Nikam said at book release function here.

"The prosecution has attempted to expose diabolical designs of Lashkar-e-Toiba to send Fidayeens like Kasab to de-stabilise India," he added.

On the occasion, Nikam released Marathi version of a book on 26/11 attacks titled 'Operation Black Tornado' written by senior journalist Jitendra Dixit.

Pak-based terror group opens its gates to protest innocence on Mumbai attacks

Muridke (Pakistan), Dec.5 (ANI): A Pakistani terrorist group blamed for last week's attack on Mumbai that killed nearly 200 people and injured nearly 300, opened its gates to outsiders and reporters on Thursday in order to protest its innocence. The Telegraph quoted Abdullah Muntazir, a spokesman of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, the political wing of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, as saying that he wanted to 'clear up some misconceptions' about the group's headquarters and activities, including the Indian Government's charge that it had masterminded the terrorist.....
