Meeting on Karnataka crisis inconclusive
New Delhi, Nov 5: The meeting between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) central leaders and Karnataka Chief Minister, BS Yeddyurappa still continues to be inconclusive and are expected to meet again to resolve the crisis in the southern state.

Chief Minister who arrived at the nation's capital late Wednesday, Nov 4 joined a meeting held by party president Rajnath Singh with senior party leaders Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, M Venkaiah Naidu and Ananth Kumar on Thursday, Nov 5 morning.

After the meeting BSY said that he will meeting Singh and other senior leaders again.

"Talks are still on," Mr. Naidu said.

It is learnt that Mr Naidu and Ms Swaraj have tried to convince BSY to agree on certain demands of the rebel Reddy brothers. However they failed to arrive at a consensus.

BSY has been trying to meet and talk to the dissident leaders but the Reddy brothers have refused to meet him.

Pub culture should not be permitted: BSY

Bangalore, Jan 29: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddiyurappa made it clear on Thursday, Jan 29 that 'Pub culture' is wrong and such cultures should not be permitted. He also stated that his govt will not allow people to take law into their hands. "Anyhow, we are not going to allow such incidents to happen again in the state. Nobody should take law into their hands and it is a very unfortunate incident. That is why I have taken.....
