BSY will continue as the CM: BJP high command

BSY to stay as CM
New Delhi, Nov 5: In what comes as a major set back for the dissident Reddy brothers, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high command has declared that BS Yeddyurappa will continue as the Chief Minister.

According to the latest reports, the BJP high command has ruled out any change in leadership, but has offered the removal of the cabinet minister and a close aide of CM, Shobha Karandlaje and principal secretary, VP Baligar.

The central leaders on Thursday, Nov 5 held meetings throughout the day with the state leaders from both the factions.

Karnataka: What can the Reddy brothers do now?

BS Yeddyurappa arrived in Delhi late Wednesday, Nov 4 to hold talks with both the central leaders as well as the state rebels.

Till Thursday, Nov 5 afternoon the meetings and talks remained inconclusive and the leaders were expected to meet again.

Janardhana Reddy and Karunakara Reddy who started the coup about a week ago have been demanding that BS Yeddyurappa should be removed from CM post.

Pub culture should not be permitted: BSY
