Editor's pick
Islamabad, Nov 4: A Pakistani official has said that the evidence of India's involvement in promoting insurgency in South Waziristan was yet to be handed over to New Delhi.

"There is evidence in South Waziristan Agency (SWA), which prove Indian involvement in promoting uprising and insurgency in agency," Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit Khan was quoted by media as saying.

The evidences found against India in South Waziristan included Indian arms, bombs and Indian medicines, he said.

Khan said that the evidences were being investigated. "We have yet to entrust proofs to Indian government," he added.

Earlier, Pakistan's military spokesperson Athar Abbas on Tuesday, Nov 3 claimed that Islamabad has enough evidence to substantiate that India was funding terror in South Waziristan.
