After defeat, marathon champ Radcliffe vows London 2012 comeback

London, Nov.4 (ANI): After suffering her first marathon defeat outside the Olympics, Paula Radcliffe has warned her rivals: "I'll be back for London 2012."

Radcliffe, 35, finished fourth in New York on Sunday and was struggling with tendinitis in her right knee, reports The Sun.

She broke down in tears at the end, clutching her leg in pain.

"It's not career-threatening. It just needs time to clear up. London is definitely my target. If I can have two good marathons before then, that'll be fine by me," the world-record holder said. (ANI)
