Pak's 'principled stance' on Kashmir remains 'unchanged': Gilani

Islamabad, Nov.3 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that Islamabad's principled stance on the long pending Kashmir issue would remain unchanged, and that it would continue to extend political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris.

During a meeting with Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) Preisdent Raja Zulqarnian Khan and Prime Minister Farooq Haider at the PM House here, Gilani said his government would continue struggling for the cause of the people of Kashmir.

Separately, Haider met President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidency where he was felicitated for being elected as the new Prime Minister of the region, The Daily Times reports.

Zardari urged Haider to fasten the development work in the region.

He also called for early reconstruction of various installations, which were damaged in the devastating earthquake in 2005, rehabilitation of people affected by the construction of the Mangla Dam and development of the new Mirpur city.

Haider assured Zardari that he would continue to work for the development of the region and said he would maintain the upremacy of law and justice. (ANI)

Pak's reply to Indian 'dossier' in a week
