26/11-type attacks likely : Army Chief
New Delhi, Nov 3: After FBI foiled an LeT (Lashkar -e-Toiba) attempted terror attacks in India, Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor has alerted India to brace up to counter similar possible attacks in the future on Tuesday, Nov 3.

The Army Chief said that while the possibility of such attacks cannot be ruled, steps has to be taken to prevent any Mumbai-type attacks.He said that the precautionary measure was being taken in the backdrop of series of terror attacks in Pakistan which has led to Defence Minister AK Anthony and Home Minister P Chidamabaram suggesting cautions against such attacks.

Army Chief's warning came a week after David Headely, American citizen was arrested with Tahawwur Hussain, Pakistani-Canadian for conspiring a similar Mumbai-terror like attacks with LeT.
