PC warns Pak against 'playing games' with India

Madurai, Nov 1: Home Minister P Chidambaram has warned Pakistan against meddling with India and said anymore terror attacks for the country 'will be retaliated very strongly'.

Addressing a public meeting in Madurai, Home Minister said, "We have been gaining strength day by day to counter terrorism from across the border. I have been warning Pakistan not to play games with us. (I have told them that) the last game should be Mumbai attacks. Stop it there."

"If terrorists and militants from Pakistan try to carry out any attacks in India, they will not only be defeated but will be retaliated very strongly," Chidambaram said

"We have strength to tackle any such infiltration," he said.

Chidambaram also spoke on the Naxals issue and said both Congress and BJP governments at the Centre had 'underestimated' the Naxals for the last 10 to 13 years.

"Now they (Naxals) were trying to create problems in the country with arms and weapons in their hands. They are not going to succeed in this," he added.
