Chidambaram issues strong warning to Pakistan

Madurai, Nov1 (ANI): Addressing a public function in Madurai, nion Home Minister, P.Chidamabaram today issued a strict warning o Pakistan that any further attack on the Indian soil will be trongly retaliated.

Chidambaram said he has been warning Pakistan not to play with ndia and that the Mumbai attacks should be the "last game."

"We have been gaining strength day by day to counter terrorism rom across the border. I have been warning Pakistan not to play ames with us. (I have told them that) the last game should be he Mumbai attacks. Stop it there," said the Home Minister.

"If terrorists and militants from Pakistan try to carry out any ttack in India, they will not only be defeated but will be etaliated very strongly," added Chidambaram.

Chidambaram's warning came on a day when Pakistan's Prime inister, Yousuf Raza Gilani termed India's offer of talks as a ositive sign.

Paying tributes to Indira Gandhi during the course of his speech, hidambaram recalled her words of serving the nation till the ast drop of her blood flowing in her veins.

The Home Minister also highlighted the progressive schemes aunched by the Congress party- led UPA Government for the common eople.(ANI)

Jayalalithaa demands 'fraud' Chidambaram's resignation

Chennai, Sept 22: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa demanded that P Chidambaram, Home Minister resign or Prime Minister drop him from the cabinet over his involvement in the 2G spectrum scam."It is quite clear that Mr Chidambaram is deeply involved in the 2G spectrum scam, which according to the CAG's report has caused a loss of over Rs 1.76 lakh crore to the Indian exchequer," said Jayalalithaa."The CBI should proceed against Chidambaram, as they did against A Raja...," she said.Jayalalithaa, however, refused.....
