Attari, Oct 30: The travel advisory issued by India warning its citizens against travelling to Pakistan did not stop hundreds Sikh pilgrims from travelling to Lahore, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Reports say that about 200 pilgrims boarded the Samjhota Express from the international Attari Railway Station on Thursday, Oct 29 and left to Pakistan to observe the 540th birth anniversary of the first Sikh preacher who was born in Lahore.

Earlier, India has issued a advisory against travelling to Pakistan in the wake of the increased number of terror strikes in the country.
