Mild earthquake hits Kutch

Kutch, Oct 29 (ANI): An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale shook Gujarat's Kutch district late on Wednesday night.

However, no casualties were reported so far.

The epicentre of the quake was in the Rann of Kutch.

People from the high-rise buildings in Bhuj, Gandhidham and surrounding areas came out from their houses in panic. (ANI)

New method converts CO2 into methanol under very mild conditions

Berlin, April 21 (ANI): Scientists have developed a novel reaction scheme by which CO2 can be efficiently converted into methanol under very mild conditions.The technique was developed by researchers working with Yugen Zhang and Jackie Y.
