K'taka: Jaitley meets BSY to sort out differences

Bangalore, Oct 29: Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Arun Jaitley met Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to sort out differences in the state government.

However, Jaitley refuted any serious differences within the party.

"Every discussion with party functionary and MLA's is not crisis. Within the government, within the party, there are issues which arise from time to time, we discuss and resolve them and there are also issue which can be resolved there is no difficulty," Jaitley told reporters here on Wednesday, Oct 28.

Yeddyurappa too dispelled rumours of political differences in the State government.

"There is no problem at all Arun Jaitley is in charge of Karnataka naturally there are so many rumours that's why he might have come and he will address the media at an appropriate time," Yeddyurappa said.

According to reports, Jaitley arrived here to diffuse the stand-off that has come up between Yeddyurappa and his three of his cabinet ministers, tourism minister G Janardhana Reddy, Revenue Minister G Karunakara Reddy and their close associate Health Minister B Sreeramulu over the formers' style of functioning.

Bangalore, Jan 29: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddiyurappa made it clear on Thursday, Jan 29 that 'Pub culture' is wrong and such cultures should not be permitted. He also stated that his govt will not allow people to take law into their hands. "Anyhow, we are not going to allow such incidents to happen again in the state.
