Naga girl murderer, a 'gentle genius' or pervert?

IIT-Delhi scholar, a 'genius' or 'pervert'?
New Delhi, Oct 28: The IIT Delhi scholar who was arrested in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old Naga girl has been sent to a 14 day judicial custody.

City court Metropolitan Magistrate Saurabh Singh sent 34-year-old Pushpum Sinha, a PhD scholar of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi to judicial custody on Tuesday, Oct 27.

After arresting him on Sunday, Oct 25, the police said that the accused was a 'pervert' and that he suffered from Obsessive Compulsive disorder.

However, different reports seem reveal different sides of the accused.

The kith and kin of Sinha said that he was a 'gentle, genius' who never gave his parents any reason to complain, reports India Today.

On the other hand, another media report claims that the scholar's wife Poonam left him in 2008 five years after the marriage in 2003.

Quoting Deputy Commissioner HGS Dhaliwal, Indian Express reported that his wife who was unable to adjust to his 'behaviour" left him.
