Vijay Mallya on World Motor Sports Council

New Delhi, Oct 24: Liquor baron and the head of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), Vijay Mallya has reportedly been elected in the FIA World Motor Sport Council.

Out of the 41 candidates in the running, the Force India chairman was given one spot out of the fourteen on the prestigious council. The decision was taken in a poll held in Paris on Friday, Oct 23.

Mally gets a four-year-term on the panel.

Amsterdam, Oct 5: Struggling Dutch sports car maker Spyker Cars NV has reached a final agreement to sell its Formula One team to a consortium for 88 million euros, it said today. Kingfisher and Deccan Airways agree to merge

Manipal (Karnataka), Feb 1: The Kingfisher Airlines and Deccan Airways which have come together finally decided to merge to become a giant Airline operator in India.
