
Mumbai, Oct 22: Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Thursday, Oct 22 said that people have voted for the development and progress of the state.
The statements came after the state's ruling Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alliance headed for its third consecutive victory in the assembly elections.

When asked who is the next chief minister would be, Chavan said, "This would be decided by Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
