Pak HC quashes FIR against 26/11 mastermind Saeed

Hafiz Saeed
Lahore, Oct 12: Lahore High Court dismissed a FIR lodged against the Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief, Hafiz Saeed citing that he was not a terrorist and therefore anti-terror law would not apply to him.

"Anti-terror law does not apply to Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed," the Lahore High Court said on Monday, Oct 12.Earlier, two FIRs were filed against the JuD chief for inciting violence and jihad (holy war) through speeches. India, which claims to have provide enough proof on Saeed's involvement in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks has been pressurising Pakistan to arrest and prosecute him. However, Pakistan filed minor cases against the alleged mastermind of the 26/11 attacks.
