Indian student goes missing in New Zealand
Auckland, Oct 12: An Indian student studying culinary arts at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand has reportedly gone missing.

23-year-old Srikanth Rayadurgam, who came to the country in Feb 2009, was reported missing on Oct 1.  He was living with his older sister and her family Mt. Albert, say reports.

Close relatives of Rayadurgam who suspect 'foul play' have launched a search for him.

His family found that the day Rayadurgam went missing, he had withdrawn NZD 250. Also, his brother-in-law found his empty wallet found dumped on a cycle track nearby and his left shoe, bag and coat stuffed under a rock on the beach. Auckland police who have received the complaint have launched various search operations through land, air and water, but have failed to find him.

According to some New Zealand media reports, the police have revealed that the missing student has not been attending classes for several weeks now, deepening the mystery of the case.
