H1N1 claims 8 more lives, India's toll at 374

New Delhi, Oct 9: With a total of eight new Swine flu deaths reported from Karnataka and Maharashtra India's H1N1 toll mounts to 374.

While Karnataka reported three fatalities, Maharashtra has seen one death.

Two deaths each were reported from the states earlier, however, they were confirmed to be Swine Flu deaths only on Oct 7.

As per the Health Ministry data, 146 fresh cases of H1N1 have been detected.

Jerusalem, Apr 28: An Israeli Hospital, Laniado Hospital today reported its first case of swine flu.
