England squad has no scope for complacency, says Capello

London, Oct 4(ANI): After England's astounding 5-1 win over Croatia last month, which secured their place in the finals of the 2010 World Cup, manager Fabio Capello has said that there is no scope for any complacency, and the team has to continue in the same authoritative manner in all the games.

"We are England, one of the best teams in the world, and we can play against the best and be confident that we can win. We have to respect our opponents, but play as a team and without fear in every game," The News of the World quoted Capello, as saying.

"We have to play in the same style and with the same focus in these next games as we did for the other qualification games. In fact, we have to improve in every game. For this reason, the next few games are very important," he added.

Capello further emphasized that there are not many international games left for the side for match practice, so he intends to keep on picking his strongest squad for every match, and would avoid experiments.

"Before the World Cup we play only four more games- two qualifiers, the game against Brazil and another friendly. And if we want to improve we have to play very well in these matches," Capello said.

"I want to play with the best players in the first half always. After, in the second half, it is possible I will make some substitutions. But, for me, these are not friendly games and not for experiments," he added. (ANI)
