Another passenger misbehaves with air hostess

Hyderabad, Sep 30: Yet another Emirates passenger was arrested for allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess.

Riyat Kalfan, a native of Abu Dhabi was arrested on Tuesday, Sep 29 by Hyderabad police on the complaint by an air-hostess.

"We have booked a case against the passenger under Section 354 (asserting a women with an intended to outrage her modesty), and 509 of IPC (an act to intended to insult the modesty of woman)," Shamshabad airport officials said.

Kalfan will be produced in a local court later on Wednesday, Sep 30.

This comes just months after a similar incident, when a passenger on board Emirates' Dubai-Mumbai flight misbehaved with a stewardess while she was serving food.

Harun Salaam, who was from Maharashtra and worked in Dubai, was arrested upon his arrival at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport on Jun 4.

Dubai, Jan 13: The UAE Ministry of Labour is initiating steps to protect the rights of expatriate workers by streamlining the process through which manpower comes in the Emirates particularly from Asian countries.
