Pakistan
Islamabad, Sep 28: Bomb blasts continue to rock Pakistan with another suicide bomb attack being reported from the country's restive North West Frontier Province (NWFP) on Monday, Sep 28 which has claimed at least five lives.

Targeting an anti-Taliban and pro-government tribal elder, Malik Abdul Hakim, the suicide bomber crashed an explosives-laden vehicle into the leader's car near a police check post in the Bannu area.

Hakim, who is a key member of a 'peace committee' formed to fight the Taliban, is believed to be one among those dead in the blast. However, there were no reports confirming his death.

This comes just two days after a suicide attacker rammed a truck with over 300 kg of explosives into the police station in Bannu town. In this attack on Saturday, Sep 26 at least 15 people were killed and 60 injured.
