Olympic boxer Darren Sutherland found dead

London, Sep 16: 27-year old, Olympic boxer Darren Sutherland was found hanged in his Bromley flat on Monday, Sep 14 by his manager, Frank Maloney.

Reports say that Maloney who found the boxer dead was so shocked that he suffered a heart attack. 55-year-old Maloney is recouping in the hospital and is expected to stay there for a few days.

The Irish boxer was seen last with his manager speaking to the press about his next fight scheduled to happen in Oct 2009.

Sutherland has won a bronze medal for Ireland at the Beijing Olympics.
