Bangalore, Sep 16: Aircel in collaboration with Research In Motion (RIM) would launch a wide range of BlackBerry smart phones for its enterprise and individual customers across the country.
“We are pleased to partner with Aircel and extend the many personal and business benefits of the BlackBerry solution to their consumer and enterprise customers in India," said Frenny Bawa, Vice President, India at RIM.
Aircel customers can select from a range of BlackBerry smartphones including the BlackBerry Bold 9000, BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Curve 8310 and BlackBerry Pearl 8110.
This would facilitate customers to enjoy enhanced communications, easy access to email, phone, text and picture messaging, social networking and web browsing applications, as well as other mobile business and leisure applications.
Aircel would offer BlackBerry Enterprise Server to corporate customers with advanced security and IT policy to enable secure, push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data.
Aircel also would provide BlackBerry Internet Service allowing customers to access up to 10 supported corporate and personal email accounts (including most popular ISP email accounts) from a BlackBerry smartphone.
