Negotiations prompted Mush's safe exit: Zardari

Islamabad, Sep 15: President Asif Ali Zardari said a ' international and local' guaranteed negotiated statement of stakeholders provided Pervez Musharraf, the former military ruler a 'safe exit' after his resignation in Aug 2008.

He added that he himself was a part of the negotiation, which paved the way for Musharraf's resignation.

"I remained part of the negotiations and I hope that General Pervez Musharraf will play golf,"said Zardari.

However, he didn't name the international and local  guarantors of the settlement.

Anti-terror fight won't be affected by Mumbai attacks: Zardari
