16 Indian fishermen arrested for violating Pakistan's sea limits

Karachi, Sep.13 (ANI): At least 16 Indian fishermen along with their three boats were nabbed by Maritime Security Agency (MSA) on Sunday for violating Pakistani waters.

"16 Indian fishermen boarding three vessels were arrested over intruding Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) within Pakistan sea limits," The News quoted MSA spokesperson, as saying.

The spokesperson said fisherman would be moved to the Docks police station once the preliminary investigations are finished.

However, sources said all the fishermen have been taken to an undisclosed location. (ANI)

Dhaka, Sep 23: More than 100 Bangladeshi fishermen were missing after at least 15 fishing boats sank in a storm in the Bay of Bengal, witnesses and officials said today.
