
New Delhi, Sep 8: Thrashing Romanian Costantin Bejenaru in third round, Dinesh Kumar became the first Indian to qualify for the quarterfinals in the World Boxing Championship.
Dinesh (81 kgs) ousted his rival 19-7 on Monday, Sep 7. He will now be face Russian Artur Beterbiev in the next round.
This fight would be a tough one for the Indian as he will be clashing against the Russian who won the silver medal in 2007's World Championships.
